just another sunday

So, I'm sitting here drinking yesterday's coffee and pondering life. What is the meaning of it? What am I doing with it? How can I be more productive? Is this the eternal task of a Virgo, to constantly plan? What about the actual LIVING part? Oh but how I do enjoy my calendar and my little lists and my plan B. Also all shades of blue, love the color I mean. I do adore the rest of the spectrum. But Blue is by far my favorite. It is so welcoming and homey and peaceful and full of tranquil promise. Everything my life seems to be without. Oh, yeah... live in the moment. Ever try that? Thinking of only this second, this time, this task.... it's TORTURE to this Virgo soul.... Did I mention I was in fact a Virgo. I had my chart done, YEARS ago. Everyone should have it done. It can open up so much of who you are and help you find a way to become the person you want to be. So, I'm a double Virgo (sun & rising) and moon in Gemini (I do love to chat!). I'm also a (Water) Rat, and according to Celtic astrology I'm a Pine Tree & a Salmon. Have you guessed my hobby yet???

Introductions, please....

My name is Ursula, I'm 37, single mom of 4 and I'm writing this blog Because I Have No Muse... In other words, I'm a (unpublished) writer with a serious case of writer's block and a dear person suggested this blog as "therapy". So here I am.... creating... typing... (not actually writing... get the irony). I am from German/Polish/Welsh descent. That is what I thought, until my mother died in 2005, when her sister, (one of many) my aunt, informed me that my maternal grandfather actually had family from a Native American tribe. Explains why his nickname was "Whitey", I guess. But to look at me; blonde hair, blue eyed, pale as snow that I'm definitely of Germanic descent... My children; Lucas, Claudia, Isabelle and Victoria are all the apple of my eye and the bane of my existence. The most difficult job ever to exist: MOTHER. So, in short, this is what I'll be writing about; my favorite subjects - My children and myself.
