Another Sunday

So, here I am. Divorced. Single-parent. Bisexual. Pagan.... Can I get more diverse? Could I be anymore sub-culture deviant??? I think not...

I did have a very interested, although short conversation with a Pro-life political caller yesterday. FROM A MAN, no less! Seriously! So, it went like this "Good afternoon ma'am, I am calling on behalf of the Pro-life advocates and we want to stop the deaths of unborn children...." Needless to say I stopped him right there. I said look buddy, first of all a man should never call a women to discuss her personal American given right to choose what goes on in her very own uterus! I certainly am a proud voter and would never allow some bureaucratic ass-hat on mount high to decide what's best for me. Thank-you and have a glorious day. By the way, please remove my name and number from your list. Then I hung up! Really??? Ugh! Why is this topic STILL a debate. If you don't want to have an abortion... THEN BY ALL MEANS .... DON'T!!! But, don't take away my civil and individual right to decide for myself what is necessary, just, right, FOR ME! And all "you" people that think that it's about unborn babies and saving their lives. Well it isn't! Go back, ladies... way way back to your great-grandmothers, grandmothers and mothers. Pro-choice is a cumulative ideal expanded on from Roe vs Wade, the Woman's Movement, Feminist Movement, Bra burning pro-tests, Woman's Suffrage, opposition to female genital cutting in Sudan, or to the glass ceiling in Western countries!! It wasn't about killing babies it's about OUR RIGHT TO DECIDE EVERYTHING!!! (to have babies or not, to have sex and with whom and when and how often). Not that long ago, we didn't have this choice. We couldn't get contraceptives, we couldn't tell a man no, especially if he was our husband! The rights's to equality in the home and workplace about Female freedom.

And you seriously want to take that way???
