For Eternity... My Captain

Oh Captain, my Captain
I am but your humble mate,
here to sever your honor.

Let us seek out the glory
of unclaimed golden treasure
and fruitful bounty.

Let us ride the waves of Destiny
in search of lavish fortunes
and renowned fame.

Let us call the ocean our home
the ship a grand castle of fortitude
and live like richly Kings.

Let us hoist our banner,
fly a flag of  nobility,
forever blowing in the wind.

Let us put the bow of this sailing ship
towards the Great North,
and follow the midnight stars.

Let us dock this great vessel
at a foreign ports of call
and replenish our souls.

Let us go ashore, to the taverns
to fill our bellies on hearty food
and drink mead, rum or wine

Let us tell drunken stories of our
glorious conquests, ghostly treasures
and unrequited loves.

Let us depart in the dawn, sailing
towards the distant horizon
and the blazing sun.

Let us be forever immortal, spoken of,
as legends and myths told to generations
and for eternity... My Captain
